I just found this wonderful site and will add it to all my work that I have to do in retirement.

So I have been doing my memoirs since retirement in 2003. Yes, I am an old fart. But I try to surround myself with youngins as much as I can.

I happened upon this site while searching Google for a picture of Wieboldt's on 63rd, my first job. I am writing about my jobs.

I just published a posting about the Byrne's Building where I lived, at 55th and Green.

I am trying to post my best memories, many of which involve my early life in Chicago and Des Plaines.
