This has nothing to do with 69th Street, but here is the skinny. It was called Rocky's Bait Shop, located just south of Navy Pier. Yes, it had an address...142 North Streeter Drive, Chicago IL. The Panzo family owned and operated it. THE PANZO FAMILY IS ITALIAN YES ITALIAN. That is the answer to your question. p.s.Best shrimp in a bag ever.

IN THE 1950s WE HUNG OUT BY THE MARCIANO'S BUILDING ACROSS FROM THE STREETCAR BARNS ON 69TH AND MARSHFIELD OR RASTER SCHOOL ON 70TH AND WOOD LATER ON, LATE 1950s WE GRADUATED TO JOE CORABI's POOL ROOM 1525 W 69TH STREET.IN THOOSE DAYS LONGSHOOT MANINI WAS THE MANAGER OF THE POOL ROOM.THE BUILDING STILL STANDS.
