Your right about the change at GT. My daughter went there for Fros/Soph 03/04 & decided to move to Resurection for Jr/Sen. The fact that GT had just gone coed & the changeing neigborhood made her change her mind.The whole NW side has been changeing for the last 20 years.My neigbor here in Dwight, IL just moved here from the old Brickyard around Diversey & Oak Park.He was worried about

Does anyone have any info on a 5-11 alarm fire at the Haber Corp.at 864-908 W. North Ave. on April 16, 1953 were 35 workers were killed. I have seen a few pictures but have no other information.

Just found this great site. I aggree with you about what happens when " the hood" changes. I & my brother went to St. Pats Class of 81 & 85.We spent a lot of time riding the #77 Belmont bus from Western to Austin everyday & these Catholic boys sure enjoyed passing Madonna. You got to love those plaid skirts.
