How many are from the Back of the Yards. I grew up there, went to ss cyrils church & school, served hambergers and hot dogs on 51st & wolcott,lived across cornell park.This was from 1944 to 1956 when I married and moved to Brighton Park. Fixed TV for the 50 years. I am 79 years old and like to keep this site going so keep on posting. Everybody should have something to say.

Re was on 6oth & Pulaski and Ferone Radio & TV on 51st & Levitte. I worked fro both of them. Sam Ferone in the 50's and REx from 1965 to 1987. Then opened up Home TV on Archer a ew doors west of Whte Castle.

Roger was a leader of the junior rebels and Marvin the older brother was leader of the rebels. I'm from cornell park and know them all.

never a subway on western ave. there was a western line crossing fullerton at about 700 west . see encyclopedia chicago "maps" elevated lines.
