Dawn, That was the old Municipal Tuberculosis Sanitarium. It was shut down in the 1970's, and after sitting idle for a while, it became retrofitted into a community for elderly people, as well as providing park space (Peterson Park), a nature center, arts center, etc. There should be lots of pictures of it online. Bump I was about to ask the same kinds of questions...does anyone have any old photos of the golf course or early era of the FP? I also frequent this area.
