From what I can recall on driving to downtown:Michigan ramp was closed in 1994/6 then removed before 2000.Once they raised the toll, I also remember see drivers enter the Skyway driving up the exit ramps. Pretty scarey.

Does anyone from the far southeast side remember going to Jack Thompsons Fun Town. It was an outdoor amuseument park complete with a kids train. From what I remember from the late 60s, it was torn down and replaced by Coutesy Home center.Now it a Jewels.I remember going their with my family then stopping off by Henrys Hamburgers in Jeffrey Manor.There were a lot of gas stations at that time on 95t

From what I heard from some old timers back in the 1980s:Gas lighting was replaced in the mid to late teens. It was also the home or building owners responsibility to have this done.Scarey thing, when I was rehabbing a build,one of the old gas lighting lines was still live. Luckily we were able to fix this before a fire would have start. Close one......
