[b]Anybody know about the ABC Drive in at 24th & Union? It was off Archer Avenue. I remembr going ther with my uncle way back in the 40's or 50's.[/b]

According to Cinema Treasures. It was at 2443 Union Av in Blue Island. Not Chicago.

Hello
yes, thats the one at 147/Western
went there quite a few times in 57 and 58.
I believe it was torn down in late 58 to make room for I-57 interstate

It was called the Harlem Avenue Outdoor Theater at Forest Preserve Drive & Harlem Avenue near Irving Park Rd.

Harlem Drive In was open until 1976. A Venture tooks its place, :P
