Does anybody know the original location of the Edgewater Golf club? It was located at Pratt and Ridge Ave as far back as I can recall, but I know that their first course was near to Devon and Broadway.
Thanks

Is this the club that became the course in Warren Park?

Davey,
Yes, it's been Warren Park since the '70s. Before the 20s/30s the club was located further east.

My uncle, Bob KNox, was on the board and the day of his funeral in or around '59, the funeral processed in front of the Club and all the staff were out in front along the curb with hand on their hearts...so moving and what a beautiful place it was.

The old Edgewater Gulf Club was very large extending along Pratt Street from Ridge Avenue all the way to Westen Avenue. It also went South to an undefined point and was many hundreds of acres I would estimate.
