In 1972, Either in the SW suburbs of Chicago or on the SW side of Chicago. A Kentucky Fried Chicken place & An A&W Root Beer Stand existed near each other, But NOT in the same building. Where were these exactly?.

Chipast, you keep using the term "old-line" in your posts? What does that mean?

Well, In this case. As opposed to the newfangled KFC/Pizza Hut-Taco Bell or Dunkin' Donuts/Baskin-Robbins-type dual franchises. These were separate buildings. But around Sept.1972, I remember some more obscure out of the way Kentucky Fried Chicken and A&W Root Beer Stand, Either in the SW suburbs or SW side, Possibly W.Columbus Av???????????. Burbank????????. Oak Lawn??????????.

Interesting, I never heard that used. Is it a regional thing? Do you live in Illinois now?
