Buffalo Ice Cream

During the late 60's - early 70's, a real treat would be a visit to the Buffalo Ice Cream Parlor on Irving, just east of the Kennedy. I would appreciate hearing of other's recollections, and learning of its fate. Thanks for any information you may be able to share.

Just yesterday I was at a graduation party with a friend & his Dad worked at Buffalo in the early 70s. My friend said he spent a lot of time there with his Dad and the basement was always flooded, which his Dad confirmed. There were milk crates on the floor to step on to get around the water in the basement.
