I just tried it and I got on there!
Type in '1928 polks directory' in your search screen,

I got :
About Polk 's Directory
www.chsmedia.org/househistory/polk/Menus/About.pdf

I clicked on this and a picture that says 'About Polk's directory' pops up and near the bottom, you will see 'main menu'. Click on that and it should take you to the main menu and just click on to directory.

I had no problem with it and I hope it works for you.

you have to click on the individual files in the directory to download them.
put your cursor over polkk.pdf and click to download the listing for
all streets beginning with "K"
