Zoo on Western ave

Does anyone remember a small 'zoo' located in a park on the far north side of Chicago? I believe it was on Western and maybe Devon or Touhy. I remember visiting it maybe once or twice in the early 80's with my family.

That's the Indian Boundary Park zoo.

According to the latest information from the Chicago Park District, the Zoo is stll there. What animals if any are on display is not specified, but the structures and cages still exist. The main fieldhouse of Indian Boundary Park burned last year and is closed. It was on the National Register of Historic Buildings, but rebuilding will depend on there being money which I understand the neighborhood is trying to raise.

Last time I was in the Zoo section (a block West of Western) was 2003.

I recall they had North/west American Prairie & game animals: Deer, Elk, and a few others. Maybe Wolves?
