Does anyone remember Leemars ? It was some sort of dime store located at Lawrence near Austin. It was next to a tavern.

Was it on the south side of the street, next to Mars Liquor Store? If that's the one I remember it from my route to Prussing Elementary School as a 1st grader in 1970. They used to sell those little blue/silver foil-wrapped chocolate "Ice Cubes" at the register for 2 cents each. I was able to get one occasionally on my walk home from school.

Thanks for the post - I also went to Prussing, graduated in 1974.
