Hi, long time visitor to the forum but first time poster here. I am researching some unclaimed property for an estate. Some of the accounts use the address 222 N Ada and other use 222 S Ada. Problem is I can't find that either of these actually exist. 224 N Ada appears to be some type of factory but there's no 222 N Ada. 222 S Ada doesn't seem to exist at all. Appreciate any info anyone has on either of these addresses.

About what year was this property in existence; before the 1909 street numbering changes? Also, street names and locations change with the passage of time.

I found that there is a 222-234 N Ada according to city records. The building was built in 1919. Nothing on the S Ada address.

It was probably 1940s or 50s. I've already tried the standard sources - google, historial aerials, old phone book. Based on the City's zoning liability map the addresses don't even exist. I'm starting to think the Ada address is an error.

The legal address for this property is 224 N Ada St according to the Cook County Assessor's Office. You can see the building on there site. It is some kind of factory.

I found the 222 N Ada on City News Chicago. That is where the 222-234 N Ada comes from.
