That Tavern/Lounge At Hollywood Nr Lake Shore Dr

in a 1967 photo of Hollywood Towers, On the South side of W.Hollywood appeared to be a tavern/lounge with a 1950's Pabst Blue Ribbon sign in front, At the bend of Lake Shore Dr. What was that place?. Quite unusual for such, If you ask me......

Swank cocktail lounge for new residents in playboy approved bachelor apartments, I mean pads, along the Sheridan Rivera? Do you mean the building at the SW corner of the intersection, the one with the blue glazed brick?

No, This place was on the South side of the W.Hollywood bend. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a meeting or banquet hall for St.Andrews Greek church. But with a 1950's pabst Blue Ribbon sign is rather unusual.

That's surprising; as far as I know the church has been there exclusively for many years. Would love to see the photo now.
