Yes I do remember them, Horlick's Malted Milk Tablets. We never did put them in a glass of milk, we just ate them. Seems like they were kinda pricey, at least compared to a big five cent candy bar.

They still sell these on line, Horlick's Malted Milk Tablets.

I believe that they were almost $1.00 back in the 50's, however, they were good. It took alot of bottle returns to get $1.00. Thanks for the info about being on line.

While growing up at 55th and Halsted, I went to Pappas' Ice cream shop on the corner. Somehow, some way, I was addicted to Green River. I had Jimmy Pappas make me a Green River malt(ed). Delicious. I was hooked. For four years in the Byrne's Building I had access to the greates malt ever!
