Did anyone remember the Hub? I went there to a couple of high school skating parties but that's it. I know it was there on Harlem for quite a while. I fould the below site which has some history of the place.

Yes I remember it well from the 50's to the 70's I went skating there. It was the world's largest roller rink and had a giant Wulitzer pipe organ played by the Famous Leon Berry. Just hearing the organ was a great experience alone. It had drums, bells, horns and all kinds of instruments outside it and you would see and hear it like a great orchestra.

Yes! I skated there in the late 70's when I was in High School. It was a great place and I have so many fond memories. Saw many a movie at the Norridge Theater next door and also ate my share of Maurice Lenell cookies. Great, great memories!
