Does anyone have any info on a 5-11 alarm fire at the Haber Corp.at 864-908 W. North Ave. on April 16, 1953 were 35 workers were killed. I have seen a few pictures but have no other information.

In one of Richard Lindberg's two book about Chicago crime (I think it's the first volume) there's a article about the fire, and you can find a short article in the Time Magazine archives at their website.
One of my father's neighbors was a fatality; I remember him telling me about the fire when I was a kid but I'd forgotten about it until I saw it in the Lindberg book.
