Dear Friends, While discussing old time hamburger joints on another forum mmention was made of Minor and Dunn that was once located on East 79th Street, this caused me to take a step back in time and I recalled some of the songs that were popular on the juke box at the time. These were "Green Eyes" by helen O'Connell, and "Amapola" also by Helen O'Connell. The next was "Perfida" All of these songs are featured on you tube with live performances with the exception of Perfidia. As it so happened, I found a beautiful Scandavian singer by the name of Carola Stsndertskjold on You Tube. So, if you wish to take a step back in time while you are waiting for your hamburger and laughing and joking with your friends of the past, I invite you to go on You Yube and listen to these songs.
