in the early 70's my ma worked at the holiday inn on LSD and often she would take me around that area for whatever. i swear i remember seeing a restaurant around there where the entrance was a giant fish's head, and you would walk thru the giant gaping fishmouth to get in. anyone recall this place, or the name?? please tell me it wasn't a dream.

Sounds like your mom wasn't the only one on LSD

Sorry but you set yourself up with that post. I showed this to a coworker, who laughed his ass off, and he recalls a similar restuaraunt but west of LSD.

Years ago I drove with some friends up to Milwaukee to see a Sox game at County Stadium. We (characteristicly) got into to some sort of trouble after the game and Milwaukee’s finest took us to the station where we were told to empty our pockets upon arrival. A cop picked up a piece of paper that one guy had among his pocket junk. It had some driving directions on it. The first item on the top:

“Take LSD to Hollywood”

He was taken into another room for further interrogation.

I'm pretty sure the restaurant you're referring to was called the Coho Inn located in the Holiday Inn, you entered through a large fish mouth. This was in the mid 70's but I can't find a picture of it anywhere on the web.
