Looking for address site from 1892 - 4832 Cook

Looking for address site, Grandfather's birth record shows 4832 Cook, in the 30th Ward - I can find a Cook St in the 1909 conversion guide. Anyone have an idea of where this maybe? Appreciate it.

From William Martin's "Chicago Street Renaming":
-Cook St., vacated (Bridgeport)
-Cook St., Hollywood Ave., 1600 to 1750W
-Cook St., Waveland Ave., 2850 to 3000W.
-Cook St., Carpenter St., 5000 to 5100S.
-Cook St., 1300W 4150 to 4600S.
-Cook St., Rock St.,
-Cook St., vacated 440N 450 to 599W.
-Cook St., 440E 4124 to 4299S.
-Cook St., California Ave. 1500 to 1600S.
-Cook St., Elizabeth St. 4700 to 5100S.
-Cook St., Gennesee Ave., Lawndale Ave. 2800 to 2899N.
-Cook St., vacated 440N 450 to 599W
-Cook St., vacated 440E 4124 to 4299S
-Cook St., Wasburne Ave.
But the current 30th ward is on the Northwest side, the Plan of Re-numbering doesn't seem to have a 4832 house on any of these streets. Could be Waveland Avenue, which seems the closest to the boundaries of the 30th Ward.

The 1900 Census map shows the 30th Ward as being from 47th to 63rd and from State St. to Cicero:

I could not find an 1890 Census Map and the 1880 map only shows like 17 Wards.

Could it be the Cook St. that is now South Elizabeth St.? 4832 S. would put it in the old 30th Ward boundaries...is that Back Of The Yards?

Found Cook Street on this 1890 Chicago and Suburb Map:

It's just south of the stockyards (in fact if you extend it a few block it would make the western border of the stockyards as displayed on tbis map), east of Western near Paulina and just North of 55th Street.
(Actually, look for the township grid number 8 on the map in the general area I decribed)

It's much clearer on this 1892 map. Cook is the next block east of Throop near the Stockyards, zoom all the way in for a great view:

(Also note that it is indeed and extension of Elizabeth St.)

It looks like it is Elizibeth st. My granpa lived on 4802 s. elizebeth also. Go on google street view and see the house if it is still there.

Interesting, because the Plan of Re-numbering mentions only "North Elizabeth St.".

Thanks everyone for the responses, was able to find the house where he was born. Also found that this area was not renumbered, guess Roosevelt was a dividing line for renumbering, why Cook St was not in the guide. Have a great New Year!

Richard - Small world, looks like your Grandfather, and my Great-Grandparents & Grandfather were neighbors! My family lived there in 1892, Grandfathers birth year, eventually moved to Crown Point Indiana, and around 1906 moved from Crown Point to North Judson Indiana.
Interesting the items you find in the census and other documents, did not know my Grandfather had four other siblings, that may not have lived, and a brother that I can only find a grave marker but no history of him at all.
Would love to have pictures of the family, but any were lost in a house fire back in the 30's.
