Neon on Granville

I got a kick out of the neon feature, but was saddened to see that the newest casualty to "good taste" - the Standee's marquee on Granville wasn't featured! Apparently it was sold to someone for $500 since their new landlord (they are moving) didn't want it on the facade...

I understand that the sign was sold to a guy in Indiana for $500.00, supposedly for the Sign Musuem there. Hopefully that is true. There was a picture of the sign on a flatbead truck (carefully packed) on Flickr, so appears to be headed somewhere.
