Does anyone remember the Out of Town Newspaper Stand at State and Randolph?

Remember it well. As a youngster, I'd buy newspapers there for my masthead collection (cut them off and put them in a scrapbook). It stayed open for quite a long time, but don't know when it closed.

I also remember one on the northwest corner of State and Jackson in the late 80s. I went to college at DePaul and used to pass the newsstand every day. Got to buy the St. Louis and San Francisco papers which I thought was very cool.

It was there until at least Sept, 1994.
