Bleach Delivery

Back in the early 60's, my aunt had a number of babies in diapers. At the time, there were no disposable diapers, and they could not afford a diaper service. Since she washed the diapers herself, she used to soak the dirty diapers in a container of bleach water until she did the laundry. To save money, she used to get a home delivery of bleach. I was young myself, but I remember seeing all the bleach bottles lined up when a delivery was made. The bleach came in clear one gallon glass bottles. I remember them calling the product something that sounded like Linco, which I assume might have been the name of the company.
Does anybody else remember bleach deliveries or could shed any light on the subject?

I don't remember the deliveries but I do remember the name "Linco". Till this day my mother says "Use a little Linco on it" instead of Clorox, etc. I never knew where this name came from until now.

In doing further research, I ran across this link for antique bottles where someone wrote in about Linco. The writeup mentions that Linco was the company name and was located on 80th street in Chicago. The bottles they refer to were brown, while I remember clear bottles. Don't know whether the company sold to distributors in bulk and then the distributor bottled into their own bottles and made deliveries similar to a independent milkman. It is also possible just like fleurblue's mother, the bleach was made by another company and my family used the name "Linco" to refer to any bleach product just like many people use Kleenex to refer to any tissue.

Also found another link that mentions a trademark for Linco which is expired so I assume it is no longer produced. The Link does show pictures of the brown bottle and label.

Linco bleach was delivered to your home by the Linco man. I remember when I was a child and lived with my grandmother that the Linco man...(ours was named Red) would come down the gangway and shout Linco man...we would greet him at the back door and he would carry in the bottles of Linco. it was the only thing I remember my grandma using to do the laundry along with detergent. We lived in Chicago at Grand and Laramie.
