Forgotten Chicago is proud to offer text advertising services. Our text ads provide an excellent value for advertisers while maximizing exposure for their message.
Text ads are ideal for promoting events, products, services, just about everything. For just $35 a week — that’s $5 a day! — your text ad will appear at the top of every page on the site, just above our masthead. We guarantee the visibility of your ad by only running 5 ads at any given time. Our text ads tend to outperform the industry average, and are highly targeted.
How It Works
Only five slots are available per week. We do this to maximize exposure for each advertiser. Ads may be bought in one-week blocks, with an eight week maximum. Ads can run as soon as we receive the purchase, and we are happy to take advance orders (some restrictions apply).
A few rules: Ads cannot be no longer than 100 characters, including spaces. We will only approve ads that are safe for all readers— no profanity, nudity, or illegal activities. All ads are screened before publishing, and we reserve the right to reject any ad.
We use Paypal for processing (an account is not required) — Once your payment clears, your ad will still need a review for appropriate content and language and to make sure there is no scheduling conflict. Approved ads will go live for the period you have chosen (again, no more than eight weeks in a row). Please note that once an ad goes live, we cannot change it’s date range, so be very sure of your date range.
In the event that there is an error, you will be refunded or we will offer you the next available slot if you wish.
